About me
I am a late diagnosed adult. If I think, therefore I am; then I think differently, therefore I am different.
I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I love science and nature and have over 50 tortoises.
Interests
I have always had a LOT of pets. Frankly I prefer animals to people most of the time. We always have dogs, for many years we had 5 large dogs, currently we have 2 large dogs.
I have tropical fish, a nature pond (currently full of fat tadpoles), two dogs, five different species of tortoises, neocaridina shrimp and mystery snails.
I’m a big Marvel fan, always have been, so the MCU universe has been wonderful to behold.
I read fantasy and sci-if novels, love Star Trek and The Lord of the Rings.
I am obsessed with Japan, its culture and language. I love Shonen anime and manga. I started learning Japanese 7 years ago. I visited Japan for my 50th birthday in 2019. When I was 13 my best friend was Japanese and that really started my obsession.
I’m creative and really like crochet, (before I learned that I knitted), sewing, drawing, painting, writing and puzzles.
